These two-piece polycarbonate chutes are made to funnel material into a metal detector. Old chutes wear out or become challenging to see through over time, and sometimes even crack. New chutes are rarely readily available and custom solutions are often necessary. Polycarbonate is an excellent material for use in food processing plants, factories, textile mills, and other places where strength, clarity, and impact resistance is important. These chutes are made out of 3/16" polycarbonate and are bent and solvent welded to create the final product seen here. A photo of the original chute is visible at the bottom of the page.
